The background is pieced in hand-dyed cotton in blues, greens, and purples.
The frogs and flowers are machine-embroidered appliqués.
The leaves and wings are reverse appliqué of organza,
and the whole quilt was embroidered in metallics and quilted in monofilament nylon.
